GS1-128 Overview

GS1-128 is an application standard of the GS1 implementation using the Code 128 barcode specification. It uses a series of Application Identifiers to include additional data such as batch numbers, quantities, expiry dates and many more.

Programming

GS1-128 symbology is supported by default on all Socket Mobile barcode scanners. You can enable or disable this symbology on your Socket Mobile scanner simply by scanning the codes below.  Note: Scanner must be in a disconnected state before scanning the command barcode.
